We worship together on Sundays at 10am & 6pm.

All are welcome to worship at Mount Charles.

On the first Sunday of each month, the morning service is a Holy communion service with junior church for the children. On the third Sunday of the month it is a Family Service with all-age worship. These services can include quizzes, drama, video clips, music, activities and discussion.

As Mount Charles is a Methodist church, it is part of a Circuit of around 20 churches in the St Austell area sharing a “pool” of local preachers in addition to the ministers. Services are therefore led by a different person each time. Some services are led by individuals or groups from within our own church family. During August, all of the morning services are led by members of our own congregation.

We use a range of hymns and songs, both traditional and contemporary. Services usually follow a standard format, with hymns and songs, prayers, Bible readings and ministry of the Word, but we like variety at Mount Charles and are always open to trying something different, so be prepared for anything!

Holy Communion is normally celebrated at one morning service and one evening service each month.

After morning services we have refreshments and biscuits, giving us an opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones too.
